TS Hawkins performs alongside Jai Lynne & Arthur Bacon at The 2018 Bridge PHL Theatre Festival Fundraiser!
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Please join us for an evening of music, comedy, spoken-word, refreshments, prizes, conversation, and community!
Tickets: $15 cash at the door.
Build the Bridge PHL t-shirts are $10 and 25% of t-shirt sales always is donated to Black Lives Matter. All other funds raised will go towards producing The Bridge PHL Theatre Festival this November 1st - 4th.
ABOUT TS HAWKINS:
TS Hawkins is an international author, performance poet, and playwright. Her plays & shorts include: Seeking Silence, Cartons of Ultrasounds, Too Late to Apologize, They’ll Neglect to Tell You, #RM2B, The Secret Life of Wonder: a prologue in G, AGAIN, #SuiteReality, and "don't wanna dance with ghosts...". AGAIN, was acknowledged for having the "Best Theater Moment of 2017" and #SuiteReality received the 2017 "Reality Check" Surya Bonaly Award. Her books include: Sugar Lumps & Black Eye Blues, Confectionately Yours, Mahogany Nectar, Lil Blaek Book: all the long stories short, and The Hotel Haikus. Hawkins is slated to teach her poetry course, "Thriving Ain't Easy", as a Master Class for the 2018 Philadelphia Writer's Conference; a course that infuses health, wellness, and activism through poetry!
