In a topsy-turvy social-political media-driven climate, how can you and those you are engaging in your teaching artist practice search for peace? Through various poetic activities, participants will explore what it means to own one's voice and solace of mind. Led by TS Hawkins, an international author, performance poet, art activist, playwright, trauma-informed educator, and member of the Dramatists Guild, this session will support you to poetically explore, unearth, and embrace your intersectionalities.  TS will share strategies to engage and create in a supportive/brave collaborative environment.  You will be invited to be part of a low-engagement in-class performance. Teaching artists in all disciplines are welcome!
